Certainly, there may be situations when you may want to switch off your computer yourself to save electricity or prevent it from overheating, especially if the computer is non-operational due to a bad power supply unit.

And all this causes so much confusion in many people's minds as to what actually happens to their computer when the power goes off, who needs to take precautions or what they need to do to continue using the computer safely and conveniently.
