When the computer won't power on at all it usually is one of two things. It's either that the power supply isn't getting power or the power supply is bad. The first step is to get a paper clip and straighten it out, then bend it into a U shape. Now insert it into the pinhole on the back of the power supply, where you would plug in the cord. If it is getting power, then there should be some type of reaction to your paperclip. This will test if there is power going to your power supply.
